Stockman to tackle the hot issues, speak with constituents, on Radio Town Hall
BEAUMONT – Congressman Steve Stockman will reach out to and speak with thousands of Southeast Texans Monday, Feb. 25, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. as part of a Radio Town Hall meeting on AM 560 KLVI.
Residents of the 36th Congressional District may call in and speak directly with Stockman with any questions they may have.
“A radio town hall meeting is the most accessible way there is to reach the people you serve. An unlimited number of people can listen in,” said Stockman. “Holding a town hall meeting in a building only lets you speak to a few hundred people and telephone town hall meetings have a limit on the number of people allowed on. With radio there are no limits.”
“We will talk about Obama’s sequester plan, protecting the right to keep and bear arms and all the work we are doing to take care of Southeast Texas,” said Stockman. “Please take this opportunity to speak with me about any concerns you may have.”
The Radio Town Hall begins on Monday, Feb. 25 at 4:00 p.m. on AM 560 KVLI. You may also listen online at klvi.com.
The 36th Congressional District includes all of Orange, Hardin, Chambers, Liberty, Newton, Jasper, Polk and Tyler counties, and southeast Harris County, roughly south and east of Beltway 8 and I-45.
