Stockman to introduce Sanctity of Life Act
WASHINGTON -- Congressman Steve Stockman (R-TX 36) will announce Friday the introduction of a Sanctity of Life Act in a noon event at the House Triangle.
“Government has one responsibility and that is to protect the individual right to life and property. The right to life is the most basic and inalienable of all human rights and decades of scientific progress continue to prove life begins at conception,” said Stockman. “Passage of a Sanctity of Life Act would be a landmark achievement for civil and human rights in the United States.”
Stockman was the original sponsor of the first Sanctity of Life Act in 1995.
